Analytical Informatics Announces License Agreement with Johns Hopkins University for REACH Radiologist Video Collaboration Software

For Immediate Release:

Analytical Informatics announced today that it has signed a license agreement with Johns Hopkins University to develop and commercialize a real-time physician collaboration software called REACH (Radiologists Engaging and Collaborating in Health) developed at the Johns Hopkins Medicine Technology Innovation Center led by Dr. Paul Nagy, PhD.

Under the terms of the agreement, Analytical will commercialize and distribute the REACH tool, which was developed to work with Analytical’s existing AI Bridge analytics platform, and provides real-time video conferencing and communication capabilities for physicians while sharing a unified view of a patient’s medical imaging such as MRI or CT studies.

The REACH software, demonstrated at the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) demonstration area at last year’s Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting in Chicago was the highlight of the event for many according to Analytical’s co-founder and CEO Chris Meenan.   “This is exactly the type innovative tool that healthcare needs to improve efficiency and care.  With this powerful collaboration software, hospital clinicians can now get an instant radiology consult through real-time video conferencing and a shared view of a patient’s medical images” said Chris Meenan.  “We are excited to announce this new license and expansion of our license agreement with Johns Hopkins University, and are looking forward to being able to further develop and distribute the REACH product.   Innovative software tools like REACH, developed directly with physicians and proven to improve communication are essential to achieving more collaborative healthcare environments, as well as providing radiologists with tools to achieve the ACR's Imaging 3.0 vision"

Analytical will share more details about REACH, in addition to demonstrating other quality software tools at this year’s RSNA Meeting November 30- December 5, 2014 in Chicago, Illinois.
